Our 7th graders at Winterset Junior High are turning learning into action!
This year, students studying global hunger decided they want to do more than learn - they want to help. All 7th graders will take part in a meal‑packing event with Meals From the Heartland to package 20,000 meals that will feed people in Iowa, the U.S., and around the world. 🌎
Students need to raise $3,500 to make this happen (Meals From the Heartland covers the rest). Any additional funds will be donated to hunger‑relief organizations chosen by students who will research, rate, and choose where the money goes.
