We are proud to share that one of our students, Maxwell Landers, has been selected to represent Iowa at the Student Senate on AI Policy this summer!
As part of America's Youth AI Festival in Boston this July, Maxwell will explore AI's impact on communities, learn about the legislative process, an debate a first-of-its-kind national AI policy for K-12 schools at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate.
The student-authored policy will be shared with AASA's nationwide network of more than 10,000 district leaders giving out students a real opportunity to influence how AI is used in classrooms across the country.
We could not be more proud to have Maxwell represent WCSD on a national stage.
