Algebra I classrooms are planning to collaborate with Estes Construction to investigate what it will take to make the Old High School Building handicap accessible by adding a ramp. The teachers met with Chad Alley, their project executive, via Zoom to plan the project.


Friday before Thanksgiving Break in College Intro to Lit: Shades of Tone. Students were given words and then had to match them up by intensity of the word. #wintersethuskypride






Mrs. Ganem’s Spanish II class had a monster scavenger hunt to practice body parts vocabulary. Students had to read a description and record how each body part was described. Then they had to find the monster around the room and record the letter associated with that monster.

Foreign exchange student from Estonia, Karl, presented to Mrs. Ganem’s advisory about the Estonian language for International Education Week. Students learned some key phrases and listened to a popular song. Karl also read a poem in Estonian.





Taylor Sullivan from Madison County's Crisis intervention advocacy agency came to speak to student council & WHS students. She talked about their services in the county & then the students presented her with a check from the senior parking spot proceeds.




The HS PE class learned an Estonian game this week from exchange student Karl. It is called Geese and Swans. It is similar to the sharks and minnows game played in Elementary/Middle school PE. #wintersethuskypride


Students in Dual Credit Comp 2 started their research the "old-fashioned" way with research in the library! Thanks to our teacher librarians for helping them to pick topics. #wintersethuskypride
