A huge thank you to Gilbert & West Marshall schools. They donated funds to WHS student council to make life easier for students after the tornadoes. One of the ways we have used that money was snacks during testing days for JH/HS students. Thanks again! #wintersetstrong

WHS Iowa Students for tobacco education & prevention(ISTEP) attended Summit 2023. One of the local members, Rowena O’Bannon, helped plan the summit for all Iowa chapters.





Ms. Tracy’s K-class celebrated reaching their academic goals along with the fun of Easter with a class party. We had movie day topped off with being able to wear your pajamas and popcorn for a treat!





Thank you to Carol Leichty, Jeff Johnston, Patty Weeks, Jessie Lowry & Jim Nelson for sharing their knowledge, passion, and patience with 2nd grande as they explored Carver Park and discussed what George Washington Carver wished to share with others.





Today our 7th grade worked with Meals from the Heartland to package 20,000 meals to send to the Ukraine. The last one is of Carson Cook handing the twenty thousandth meal to Mrs. Woods to finish the final box. The kids had a blast helping out!
