We are so excited to start introducing our fabulous new staff! First: Meet Megan! As an educator, she loves gaining opportunities to make connections with students, faculty, staff, and parents by going to community events to further support students in their activities in and out of the classroom. She loves how a small town community cares for each other, supports one another, and is always welcoming, which is exactly why Winterset excites her! #wintersethuskypride

Hey Huskies! We know - it’s the middle of summer, and the very last thing you want to think about is backpacks and alarm clocks! While you’re busy soaking up the sunshine and enjoying some well-deserved relaxation, our school staff is already buzzing behind the scenes to make the 2026–2027 school year our best yet!

Registering early helps us plan the perfect classrooms, secure the best resources, and ensure a smooth start for every student.

Summer Meal pickup is happening again tomorrow! Same time, same location, same friendly faces! Just a reminder, due to federal guidelines, we are unable to serve before 12:00 or after 1:00 - so be sure to stop by during serving time! We can't wait to see you! 🖤💛

It’s recommended that even those who don’t believe they will qualify for federal aid fill out the form. Some are surprised to find out they’re eligible for grants, subsidized loans, and work-study benefits.
