Students in Ms. Tracy's kindergarten class wrote persuasive arguments, mirroring the format of the book Hey, Little Ant by Hannah and Phillip Hoose. The class identified the text attributes they wanted to include in their own writing (👀 notice the labeled speakers, back-and-forth conversation, and bold print for emphasis 👀) and wrote their own "Hey, Little Fly"
Mrs. Dinkla's class engaged with Canva AI image generator tools to create a logo for a business of their choice. They learned how to refine prompts and use other AI tools to get a final product.

Our 2nd graders had a special visit from local master gardeners! They delved into the world of annuals, perennials, and learned proper planting techniques. They will use the skills to start growing plants to beautify the east and north sides of our elementary school! 🌿👏
Mrs. Bean's 3rd grade class has been learning video editing skills and capturing footage to create citizenship videos. For today's footage, a drone was used to capture footage to reinforce recess expectations. Great work!
