College Comp 2 started their research projects this week by looking at potential topics in the library and online databases.

The weather was so nice this week, a math class took a 4 square brain break.

Mr. Thompson’s Business Math class had two bankers from VisionBank and Farmers State Bank speak to the class about starting their financial journey and what to know about credit, loans, and checking/savings accounts.

Spanish III students played Verbo today (similar to the card game Uno) to practice conjugating irregular verbs in the future.

AP lit students taking over the acting and instruction last week for the drama unit.

Spanish II students did an object pronouns escape room today to practice the proper uses of direct and indirect object pronouns. Students had to solve different puzzles to crack the code for each lock and “escape." #wintersethuskypride

Creative projects in AP lit for their latest novel reading. Students could choose the summative assessment. #wintersethuskypride

Winterset Alum Wain Moser was back today talking with Mr. McCutchan's class about his experiences so far in the Air Force. Wain will leave tomorrow to be stationed in California! Thank you for your service! #wintersethuskypride

Today we changed up the pep assembly and moved it to the auditorium so the jazz choir could perform! We also recognized winter awards and spring sports. #wintersethuskypride

Mr. Thompson was off & running using the InsertLearning EdTech tool after a short PD session. Used it to engage students about banks in Business Math class. Good stuff!

Mr. Cowan led staff through a DIY night making scented candles. Last months project was homemade lanyards. Fun indoor crafts for anyone that wanted to participate, organized by the WHS wellness sponsor. #wintersethuskypride
