WHS FFA member Alissa Brownlee traveled to Washington DC this week.
Alissa is attending a national conference with 300+ members in our nations capital.
This week, she will experience Arlington National Cemetery, several of the national monuments, & explore the national mall.

Dio Ayala, EMS Director visited the film history class to discuss his experience living in NYC during 911, going to site, and his role in Madison County in coordinating events with all levels of government today.
He brought his intern, Alexis Davis, a former student.
Biology classes cleaned up and planted native plants in the pollinator garden at Pammel Park!
The History in Film class had 2 community members visit to explain the role people play in greatness. The class has been doing historical research into why people have things named after them. Gary Emmert & Jim Mease came to visit about two important people in Winterset history and why they have a gym and field named after them.
