Mr. Jared McDonald joined Mr. Larison’s U.S. history class this past Friday and brought artifacts from the Madison County Historical Society for students to interact with. They learned the pros and cons of constructing historical narratives using each type of artifact.




WHS Art class update: Paint and Ceramics began to dive into the media, & Photo started collaborating for ideas for their first project.

ACT Dates @ WHS for the 23-24 school year! The deadline for the first one of the school year is coming up on August 4th!

Wednesday at 10:30 will be the WHS summer school water balloon fight, and any kids have gone to summer school this year are invited to join us. (pictures are from last year)


WHS FFA member Alissa Brownlee traveled to Washington DC this week.
Alissa is attending a national conference with 300+ members in our nations capital.
This week, she will experience Arlington National Cemetery, several of the national monuments, & explore the national mall.
