🌟 What an inspiring morning! 🌟
Our 7th grade Global Studies students had the incredible opportunity to hear from Eric Hanson of KCCI News about the amazing work happening through Meals for the Heartland!
Eric shared firsthand accounts of the real impact this program is making in our community—and seeing the passion in his eyes as he talked about it was contagious! 📦
Even better news: All 7th grade Global Studies students will be participating in the Meals for the Heartland meal packaging event next week—so they'll get to see the impact firsthand themselves!
Big thanks to Mr. Heithoff for bringing this meaningful experience into the classroom. Our students learned that one person CAN make a difference, and that service to others is what builds a stronger community.
Shoutout to all our students for asking such thoughtful questions and showing genuine interest in making the world a better place! 🙌

Who knew our gym could be an ocean? 🌊🐙 Last Friday night the 7th & 8th graders gave us an “Under the Sea” takeover — complete with dancing, dodgeball, and more glitter than a mermaid convention! Big shout out to Ms. Criswell and Student Council for planning every magical (and slightly soggy) detail, and to Mr. Bradley for being the DJ of the deep 🎧🪩 What was your favorite photo or memory from the night? Drop your pics and captions below! 📸👇
