On Friday last week (10/27) the 9th graders presented their shark tank projects to community members who own businesses. Their goal was to connect a 21st-century innovation back to the Scientific Revolution or Enlightenment and the Winterset Community.
Junior High Parent/Teacher Conferences will take place Wednesday and Thursday, from 3:30 to 7:30pm each day!

Congrats to the State Cross Country Runners today! The boys' team placed 6th at state & senior Morgan Sutton placed 24th individually. Junior Collin Kessler led the way finishing 16th overall for the boys! #wintersethuskypride

The National Guard brought night vision goggles and thermal scopes to the 9th grade science. Students learned about how they worked and how they're used by the guard. Students then got to use the scopes to complete in an obstacle course and search for army people in the dark.

Today WCSD Alum & 2nd year U of Iowa med student, Bailey Jackson, presented to the college Anatomy class. Students worked through a case presentation on a patient with acute cholecystitis due to gall stones & they got to see real, plastinated human organs. #wintersethuskypride
