WHS students presented at round table groups with Iowa students and then ate lunch with Amb/Gov Branstad and other leaders of the World Food Prize. Afterwards they presented their posters to to them. They did a great job representing Winterset.

The 2023 Junior- Senior Enchanted Forest Prom & Post Prom turned out wonderfully! The students looked great. Thanks to all that helped make it successful!

2nd graders ended the week with a trip to Carver Park where several community members added to students' understanding of what George Washington Carver offered the scientific community regarding plants, education, and sustainable farming practices.

Students at WHS recently participated in the Every 15 minutes program. Part of the program was to highlight the statistic about distracted/ drunk driving. Students were “tapped out” of class every 15 minutes and then went to WildWood to participate in team building activities.
