The Optimist Club of Winterset recognized Camryn Forst at their weekly meeting on 12/17. The Optimist Student of the Month was awarded with a certificate, a $50 gift card, and was able to choose an organization to donate $100 toward. She chose American Cancer Society.

WCSD will dismiss at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 due to the forecasted sustained winds of over 50 mph, and the danger that poses to high profile vehicles like our buses.
The School Board was also able to recognize Mr. Sweeney and the 2021 WHS football team seniors at their meeting tonight for their efforts both on and off the field to leave a lasting legacy in WCSD. Thanks boys!
