Winterset Elementary School
With Excellence In Mind
A sweet surprise this week! 🍩 One of our elementary students, Emerson, stopped into the Office with donuts for SRO Garrison as a thank you for his service and dedication to keeping our schools safe & "because he's the best!" ☺️ Small acts of kindness like this remind us how special our students and community are. Thank you for your thoughtfulness, and thank you SRO Garrison for all you do each day! 💙 👮♂️ 🖤 🐾 💛
🎬🚗 The Winterset Thirst Project is hosting a Drive-In Movie Fundraiser this Saturday 4/25 at the Middle School parking lot! Two movies will be shown. Bring your family & friends for a fun night supporting a great cause! See flyers for details. 🍿✨
A huge thank you to our amazing PTO for the thoughtful gift cards! This morning, teachers answered trivia questions for a chance to win gift cards, and it was such a fun way to start the day. Your generosity and support mean so much to all of us. We truly appreciate everything you do for our staff and students! 💙🍎 #ThankYouPTO #Grateful

✨ What a night! ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us for First Grade Engagement Night—we loved celebrating our students’ learning alongside family and friends! 🖤💛
Our First Grade Team created a fun scavenger hunt where students proudly shared their Portrait of a Graduate—highlighting both their big hearts and growing academic skills.
🎉 Shoutout to our estimation station pros—THREE students guessed within ONE of the total (109 puff balls!) and took home prizes!
👏 We also had so many checklist completers that we got to draw TWO raffle winners! Each received a gift basket filled with fun activities, treats, and gift certificates to local favorites like the Iowa Theater and Tiki Treats.
A huge THANK YOU to our community businesses for their generous donations—we are so grateful for your support!
We appreciate the incredible involvement from our Winterset Elementary families. #wintersethuskypride 🐾
